For those who only read the first sentence of these things, even if you are not located in the Phoenix area, CONSULT WITH BABBITT (I would rather pay to ship my car out for them to fix, (depending on the situation of course) would probably save money and get better service), and if you are in the phoenix area, NEVER TAKE YOUR BMW ANYWHERE THAN BABBITT (unless you have a warranty of course, when it runs out, go to Babbitt). I have been going to them for 5 years, I have a B7 Alpina, essentially a 7 series which is known for its issues, but they only made around 200 my year, so as you see the problems and parts really require expert knowledge. Aside from their knowledge and expertise of all BMWs, what really makes them standout is their creative way to solve the array of problems that come with all BMWs. For example, my car had issues in California, where I took it to the dealership, and they quoted me $20,000 to replace the supercharger. After sending back and forth videos to Cameron, who runs the North Tempe shop, we were able to figure out the exact issue, which they instructed a local European car repair shop where to buy the car and how to fix it, costing me only around $700 (with Babbitt not even getting paid). That is how well they treat there customers. I cant tell you how many countless times I thought I was going to break the bank taking it to shops local to where my car had issues for a quote, then toughing it out and driving all the way to Babbitt, for them to creatively solve the problem while telling me some of what others quoted was unnecessary to fix at that time or in general. In today's day and age, especially in the car industry, honesty is a rarity. Not just honest about pricing, but honesty about what really doesn't need to be done, or what can wait a few months before being done. There isn't a worse feeling than being unsure about whether you are being ripped off or not, especially when someone is pushy or says it is your only option. With Babbitt, I literally am happy to pay because I know my money is well spent and went to all the right places. Even the little things with Babbitt are awesome. They give repeat customers breaks on certain services, and will not even brag to you about it, I had to find out for myself comparing old bills. They will squeeze me in last minute for an oil change even though they are completely swamped, sometimes having to stay late just to let me get to my car after work or to finish up repairs. I could go on, but I think anyone reading this far gets the picture. I recommend Babbitt to everyone I know, and now you who reads this; Frankly this review is long overdo. Cameron really is an all-star there and has gone above and beyond to help me throughout the years. Also, everyone else who I have dealt with and who has worked on my car has been amazing. Thank you guys!

No doubt Babbitt’s is the best place I’ve ever found to take care of my BMWs. Yesterday I brought my X1 for a engine light check, turned out to be a simple emissions related part they’ll replace when it comes in. They gave me a perfectly reasonable quote for parts and labor. Unfortunately, while checking the error codes, a known BMW electrical defect came up and now Footwell Module is a thing in my life because mine blew up. They control the turn signals and windows and fry so often on certain models it’s warrantied by dealers, so at least I don’t have to pay for that. BUT, there are fewer things in life I hate more than being at a car dealership for any reason. Babbitt’s was kind enough to listen to me whine for awhile and contacted a known service advisor at the dealer who was friendly to the cause. (He helped keep the process smooth and for the first time ever I was in and out of there in under an hour.) As a bonus my driver’s window was 1/4 down when the F module died so it’s stuck open. Of course it rained for the first time in 110 days last night. It is a Bimmer so I don’t really need the turn signals but it would have been nice to have the window up this morning On the way to North Scottsdale in the rain.

My M4 was out of warranty, and after some research, I decided to take my car to Babbitt. BMW service is crazy expensive, but worthwhile. They were extremely professional, and took great care of my car, at a fraction of the price of the dealership. They have several BMW certified techs, so I didn't have much worry about who was taking care of business. I needed regular service, including an oil change, and some other normal maintenance. They explained everything that needed to be done, and some things they said could wait without issue until my next service, so they weren't trying to upsell me on services that weren't needed at the time. Not to mention, they gave her a good wash! I've definitely found my new place to take my car to, and I would highly recommend them to anybody who has a BMW or Mini.

We've used them several times now that our car is out of warranty; dealer prices just too high, and I don't like paying the higher prices to cover a lavish dealership lobby with free snacks. Personable service, direct and prompt communication, and I don't get the "I'm talking down to you because you're a woman" vibe, which I appreciate.
