North Tempe
I took my 2011 Mini Cooper here for the first time yesterday for a second opinion on my brakes, since my brake indicator light was on. Brake Masters did a thorough check and told me my front and rear brakes both needed to be replaced for $800. Babbitt discovered that only my rear brakes needed replacement, and my front ones still had ~5000 miles of wear left on them, so I only needed to spend $420 at this time. Also! I had been taking my car to Goodyear for oil changes every 5K miles because they shamed me into it (despite the dealer's advice of changing every 15K when I bought the car a few years ago). Babbitt confirmed that I had been wasting my hard earned cash on these $90 oil changes -- I need them 1/3 as frequently as I had been getting them!! One more thing -- I asked Babbitt to investigate a mild rattle I'd been hearing when accelerating for as long as I could remember. They tightened bolts, checked things out, and spent quite a bit of time driving it, trying to figure out its source. They said most minis make the same rattle, but most owners don't notice. They assured me that everything is in great shape. The customer service was fantastic, and I'm SO GLAD I found an honest, non-upselling shop that specializes in German-engineered cars! Never taking it to Goodyear or Brake Masters again!
