Jen was awesome and kept me informed during the whole process. We weren’t sure what was wrong but it ended up being a lot of things. Jen explained the issues and helped me prioritize the critical issues to repair right away. The fix took time but the end result was fair and got my car running perfect. I highly recommend Babbit (and Jen) for treating you fair, no unnecessary charges, and trustworthy. All hard things to find at other shops and dealerships. We will definitely be back!

My name is Nick and I have been charged $1,100 to be told that I need a new engine. They told me it is for labor. They sent me an email asking me to approve and I thought it was the cost of fixing the problem. The BMW Dealership charges $200 for the same thing. How can you do this to a customer that have been coming to your shop for 7 years and has spent over $6000 at your shop. This is so wrong.

Nicholas, It is always upsetting to deliver bad news to a customer. However, $375 of your $945 bill is the battery that needed replacement because the car sat for over a year. You approved the battery job, but if you would like us to uninstall the battery, we will do that for you. We talked on the phone, and I sent a follow up email regarding the labor and charges necessary for the tear down of the car. When a car has timing issues we must remove components of the engine to inspect and see what is going on. It is standard practice for us to talk on the phone, send a follow-up email on what we've just discussed, and get your permission on what you want done on your BMW. I know it is difficult not getting the news one is hoping for, but it is always our goal to inform you and let you decide how to proceed. Your BMW is still in our shop and it is up to you, again, to let us know how you would like us to proceed.
